Principal

William J. Oterson, CPA, graduated from St. Joseph’s College with a BA in accounting. He joined the Firm in 1997 as a Staff Accountant, and through his hard work and diligence, he attained the position of Principal, Audit Services.

William is involved in the planning and supervision of various audit engagements, with a specialty in school districts. William’s client roster also consists of different types of municipalities including villages, towns, and fire districts, as well as not-for-profit organizations.

William’s goal is to be an effective resource to our clients and our Firm on a year-round basis. With his strong understanding of local government accounting and auditing issues, he is dedicated to assisting clients with the implementation of new accounting principles, and state accounting and reporting requirements.
